AN EDWARD VII CAMERON HIGHLANDERS OFFICER'S DRESS SWORD,
early 20th Century, with 33in. double-edged plated steel blade with two narrow fullers on each side, etched in relief on both sides with Royal cypher to one side and 'QUEEN'S OWN / CAMERON / HIGHLANDERS' and 'EGYPT' over, ricasso with proved plug to one side and Edinburgh retailer's details over, numbered on the edge '101650' plated cross-guard, wire-bound fish-skin grip and steel pommel, together with its field scabbard with plated steel fittings and sword frog, a few spots of tarnish on the blade, some wear to the grips and scabbard leather folded at the junction of the chape, 40 1/4in. overall
